District Strong Webinar: Black Equity at Work Certification

Following the calls for social justice following the murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor and the racial inequities heightened under the pandemic, employers across the country began to call upon their own organizations to commit to closing racial equity gaps. In partnership with the Boston Consulting Group, Management Leadership for Tomorrow created the MLT Black Equity at Work Certification. This certification transcends basic DEI initiatives and serves as a way in which companies can hold themselves accountable in achieving racial equity. To talk about the new initiative, the Federal City Council has invited Andrea Rice of Management Leadership for Tomorrow and Richard Bynum of PNC to discuss the role employers play in achieving Black equity.
